-在本次翻譯實踐中，選取的材料來自于當代作家特克•喬納森的《繩紋時代太平洋游記》的第四章《插曲》。本書講述的是主人公喬恩•克特和朋友們一起經歷艱難險阻的航海探險故事。這本小說是針對年輕讀者，鼓勵他們遇到困難勇往直前。

-本論文主要分為兩大塊：翻譯部分和論文部分。

-翻譯部分主要講述的是主人公喬恩•克特和他的同伴一起為航海探險做準備工作過程中遇到了一些困難和小插曲。

-小論文將主要分為四部分，第一部分是引言，主要是對所翻譯的作品進行背景知識的介紹。第二部分介紹了譯者的翻譯過程；第三部分主要闡述翻譯過程中遇到的問題及解決的依據和方法；第四部分是總結，分享了此次翻譯實踐的心得體會。

INTRODUCTION

-The material chosen for this translation practice is the fourth chapter of In the Wake of the Jomon from the contemporary writer Jonathan Turk. It tells the story that 

protagonist Cotter Jon and his partners went through hardships and obstacles in their sailing exploration. This novel is aimed at young readers and encourages them to face difficulties bravely. 

This graduation paper is divided into two major parts: translation and essay.

The fourth chapter of the novel is selected in the translation part, which is mainly about the difficulties and interludes encountered by the protagonist Cotter Jon and his companions in preparing for the nautical expedition. 

The essay will be divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction, which briefly introduces the novel. The second part introduces the translator’s translation process. The third part mainly elaborates the problems encountered in the process of translation. The fourth part summarizes and shares the experience of this translation practice.-
